Minutes of evidence taken before the Committee for Privileges to whom the petitions of James Earl of Crawford and Balcarres and Lord Lindsay to Her Majesty, claiming the ancient honour and dignity of Duke of Montrose (created in 1488), together with Her Majesty's reference thereof to this House; and also the petition of James Duke of Montrose in opposition to the said claim, were referred.
