The beauties of Mr. Orde's Bill; being extracts from certain private speeches of the following gentlemen in opposition: Mr. Grattan, Mr. Flood, Mr. Conolly, Mr. Forbes, Mr. Ogilvie, Mr. Corry, Mr. Hardy, Mr. Burgh, Mr. Curran, Mr. John O'Neil, Major Doyle, Mr. Browne, (M. Univ.), Mr. Smith, Mr. Hartley, Mr. J. Wolfe, Mr. O'Hara, Mr. Kearney, &c. The speeches from whence these extracts are taken, though totally different from Woodfall's debates, are not less authentic. They faithfully exhibit the real sentiments of opposition respecting the Bill, and their mock patriotism in such a glaring point of view, as must render them odious to every Irishman, nay even to every Briton! Dedicated, with all due respect, to the Right Honourable Thomas Orde.
