Vol. 2 of Lord's Library set is the "History of the city and county of Norwich" which was issued separately with the imprint "Fersfield 1741"
Vols. 1, 2, and part of 3 were printed by Nicholas Hussey. Vol. 3 bears imprint "Lynn: printed, and sold by W. Whittingham; and R. Baldwin, ... London, 1769". Vols. 4, 5 bear same imprint, but are dated 1775.
Vols. 1, 4 contain list of subscribers.
Based chiefly on the collections of Peter le Neve, the Norfolk antiquary.
Blomefield died leaving a third volume unpublished: continued by Charles Parkin, and later by William Whittingham.
Vols. 4, 5 have continuous pagination and register, and are linked by a catchword: although have separate titlepages and indices.
