Minutes of evidence taken before the Committee for Privileges to whom the petitions of Francis Home, Esquire, son of Alexander Home, Esquire, (former claimant), to his late Majesty, claiming, as of right, to be Earl of Marchmont, Viscount of Blazonberry, Lord Polwart of Polwart, Redbraes, and Greenlaw, together with His late Majesty's reference thereof to this House, was referred, ordered to be printed 20th March 1838. Minutes of proceedings before the Committee for Privileges to whom was referred the petition of Auberon Thomas Herbert to His Majesty, praying His Majesty to direct a writ of summons to be issued to him for attendance in Parliament as Baron Lucas of Crudwell, or if it is decided that he is not entitled to such dignity, to terminate in his favour the abeyance of such Barony.
