A lecture on miracles! Delivered in the parish church of Saint James, on Wednesday, the 17th of September, by the Rev. C. Otway, Curate of Lucan. In which is shewn from Scripture, the Fathers, the acknowledgments of Romish writers, and the declaration of the best and wisest of the Popes, that miracles have not been necessary, nor have they been given by Christ to his Church, in latter days. To which are added, appendixes, wherein are detailed some of the manifold absurdities and impostures, which the Romish church has given birth to, in consequence of her ambitious and self-seeking assumption of miraculous power.
