A true and exact relation of the death of two catholicks, who suffered for their religion at the Summer assizes, held at Lancaster in the year 1628. Republished with some additions, on account of a wonderful cure wrought by the intercession of one of them F. Edmund Arrowsmith, a priest of the Society of Jesus, in the person of Thomas Hawarden, son of Caryl Hawarden of Appleton, within Widness in Lancashire. The death of the generous lay-man Richard Herst was not to be omitted, that the happy cause, which united them in their sufferings, may jointly preserve their memories.

VOL.116(1) Remarks on the imposts of the clergy, with a general account of the affairs of the church of France, and a state of the several taxes laid upon them in the year 1742. To which is added, the new regulation of the tax for arming and cloathing the militia. VOL.116(2) Remarkable extracts selected from a work printed in the year 1687, by Peter Jurieu, entitled The accomplishment of the scripture prophecies, &c. Which reformation the author predicts will be brought about "not by the ministry of some new preachers, but by an heavenly operation, that shall open the eyes of them who are as yet in darkness". To which are added several acts and decrees of the National Assembly of France similar thereto. VOL.116(3) The miraculous host tortured by the Jew, under the reign of Philip the Fair in 1290; being one of the legends which converted the daughters and niece of Douglas Loveday, Esq. under the reign of Louis XVIII. in 1821. From the original French work, authorised by the College of Theology at Paris, in the publisher's possession. Illustrated by ten cuts, copied from the same work: with Mr. Loveday's narrative, &c. The death of the generous lay-man Richard Herst was not to be omitted, that the happy cause, which united them in their sufferings, may jointly preserve their memories. Compiled by a searcher after truth. VOL.116(6) Catéchisme sur les principales controverses, que nous avons avec l'église romaine. VOL.116(7) Remarks on the Rev.
