The case of Richard Earl of Burlington, claiming the Barony of Clifford, created by writ of summons 3 °Caroli I. directed to his great great grandfather, whose heir he is, Henry the son of Francis Earl of Cumberland, by the name of Henry Clifford, Chevalier; in virtue of which writ the said Lord Clifford sat and voted in several Parliaments.
