Attributed by Halkett and Laing to Sir Joseph Ayloffe and by the British Museum to John Strachey. Titlepage is a cancel, with horizontal chain-lines. Apparently this issue is a reissue with a cancelled titlepage of the 1739 edition described in the British Museum catalogue; William Petyt's "Jus Parliamentarium" described in "Books printed for G. Hawkins" as "now in press" was published in 1739. Includes one advertisement leaf and an errata page.
