The trial of John Magee, proprietor of the Dublin Evening post, for publishing an historical review of the Duke of Richmond's administration in Ireland, tried, in the Court of King's Bench, on the 26th and 27th July, before the Right Hon. Chief Justice Downes and a special jury, to which is prefixed, a report of several motions, grounded on Mr. Maggee's affadavit, to pospone his trial, until Michaelmas term.
